Bail reduction hearing reset

A hearing in the case of an accused sex offender was delayed this morning in Morgan County Court.

Forty-seven year old Richard Henson’s attorney, Michael Hankins was late for the hearing set to modify Henson’s bail, which currently sits at $100,000. Henson is accused of 11 counts of sexual abuse ranging from criminal sexual abuse of a child to predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.

The charges stem from alleged incidents between October 2003 and October 2009. The counts are split between three separate victims unrelated to Henson. He faces two similar charges in Douglas County stemming from unrelated incidents between January 2004 and July 2004.

Henson’s bond modification hearing has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning.
